The Office Staff

We have a small, but dedicated office staff. Enjoy their tales.

John Hahn

John, "C.J.", began singing for family at a very young age. After learning the guitar at 13, he joined his first band at 18. He has not strayed far from music throughout his life.

In 1988, he first sang Karaoke in Orlando, FL. He believed there would be a market for this product in the Midwest. After being a KJ from 1993 to 1997 for Kozmic Karaoke in St. Paul, MN, he moved back to his home state of SD and started his own karaoke company. Being the perfectionist and possessing a good ear for sound, he began to continually raise the bar for quality karaoke.

Having earned an outstanding reputation for fairness, as well as high quality equipment, he and his new partner John Schneiderman have begun a very successful expansion of the company. His business slogan of "Doing business with integrity," matches his belief that one should always strive to provide a customer with more than they ask for or expect.

John Schneiderman

John travelled though-out his life, finally winding up in Sioux Falls, SD. He spends most of his time, when not working or enjoying karaoke, advocating the virtues of Free Sourced Software and programming a card game suite called KardsGT . He maintains his own website that has many of his other projects and rants.

The Karaoke Jockey Staff

We have great entertainers on our karaoke staff, and each of them have provided a short summary of themselves.

Bryan

Bryan is a full-time student at Augustana. He works weekends mostly. He loves to run a good ol' classic rock show, but will do just about anything. He is a huge nerd and Star Trek fan. Thus his nickname, "The Captain Kirk of Christmas Past." Trust us, don't ask...

Our History

One should never take themselves too seriously, and so we provide a factual, albeit exaggerated, account of our founding.

Beyond here be dragons…

A long time ago, so far back few can even recall, a man had a dream. In this dream he provided high quality entertainment at a reasonable cost. That man founded CJ's Karaoke. Rising from the depths of South Dakota a greater source of entertainment was found by all. Soon, his followers grew, and his mighty voice rang out into the wilderness, "We need more KJs!"

With that cry, one by one a KJ was chosen. With this new league of entertainers, a name was forged from the darkness, Midwest Elite Entertainment. With this new name, we bring a beacon of light to the entertainment world...
